Fat Burning Benefits Of Walking
Tristan says:
There is a lot of talk on this blog about interval training and how great it is – I should know, I’ve researched and written about it – but what about the other end of the scale? Ifsprint interval trainingis the highest level of intensity in cardio training, then it should stand to reason that walking is the lowest level of intensity.
If you burn off the most fat by doing high intensity cardio training and the least when doing low intensity cardio training, then how can there be any benefits of doing low intensity cardio traininig?
Simply put, you can’t always train at the highest level of intensity, unless you are superman! I find that I can only do sprint intervals at most twice a we

Lift Weights To Lose Weight
Tristan says:
I know it sounds completely bonkers, especially when the conventional wisdom dictates that one should do cardiovascular exercise to lose weight, but it does actually make sense.
If you were to follow an all over body workout three times a week, you would see strength and size gains as well as fat loss. By exercising with weights, and using the weights as resistance, you can achieve a high intensity when exercising which will stimulate hormones into your body which will start turning a flabby body into a chiselled, rock hard body within just a couple of months or so.
Clearly this depends on the diet being right, and for this I would recommend ahigh protein breakfastand a low carb diet throughou

I thought that I would put some facts from the article on here. The following information was not written by me. I did copy and paste it, but I forgot to get the url:
1. Child-safety seat manufacturers are starting to make bigger models after a recent study showed that over 250,000 U.S. children age 6 and under are too fat to use them.

Strength Training Vs Bodybuilding
Tristan says:
I’ve been exposed to weight training since I was about 14 years old, when my older brother bought a bench, a barbell, a set of dumbbells and some weights, which we proceeded to take over our dad’s garage and turn that into our gym. We trained pretty much every afternoon after school for about two years until he went off to university.
During this time, I most definitely increased my muscle mass (though some of that must have been natural adolescent growth) and increased in strength. I continued to train with weights until I myself went off to university, but despite having trained on and off for over three years, I never ever looked, or was even in danger, of looking like a bodybuilder.
