Latin American author, anti-aging expert, and nutrition guru, Rene Endara, announced the release of his new diet book, Honesty, Love, and Science: The Human Diet, which provides an easy-to-follow roadmap to prevent obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cancer without any artificial supplements. This 60-page reference guide details the lifestyle changes one needs in order to take control of their health destiny.

In the book, Endara defines what he means by the “Human Diet”, a combination of eating habits and psychological thought patterns that depart from what he considers the “failed” diet plans of the past. “The goal of the book is to strike a healthy balance of the right types of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats,” said Endara. “Fad diets, which promise instant weight loss, and extreme diets, which severely restrict fat or carbohydrates, dismiss the way the body responds to unusual diet habits.”

From processed grains to whole grains, Endara outlines the health hazards associated with any kind of starch, including whole grains, beans, and legumes.

Rather than exasperating core bodily functions, such as digestion, for minor nutritional gain, Endara outlines what he believes are the foods that will maximize metabolic and digestive efficiency, with no adverse effect to the body. These include proteins rich in essential amino acids, omega-3 fats, and green leafy vegetables.

While some diets dismiss the role of exercise, “Honesty, Love, and Science” emphasizes that it is a critical part of the equation to sustainable weight loss and metabolic efficiency. With over 30 years of fitness training experience and success in numerous bodybuilding competitions, Endara provides his personal insights and advice on how to incorporate both aerobic and anaerobic exercise into a tight schedule. While he admits that some may question these concepts, Endara describes himself as a living example of his convictions.
